Partnerships

Mock Turtle is proactive in developing creative partnerships with community institutions. Branching out into many different styles and applications of puppetry, the theater has collaborated with groups as diverse as the Lehigh University Music Department, the Wildlands Conservancy, The National Canal Museum and County of Lehigh Pennsylvania.

The collaboration with the Baroque Ensemble, Tempesta di Mare, and the Philadelphia dance ensemble, Work-shop for Potential Movement, underscores the theater’s interest in creating diverse partnerships.Among our most recent partnerships is our intensive participation in Touchstone’s wonderful adaptation of Don Quixote. In the coming year we look forward to working with the Pennsylvania Sinfonia in a new work for elementary school children, The Museum of Music.  Also in the works is collaboration with Pennsylvania Youth Theatre in a “Depression-styled” production of Pinocchio.
