Mock Turtle – Marionette Theatre

Mock Turtle Marionette Theater is a puppet theater company dedicated to the creation of enduring childhood experiences through performances and workshops that uphold the integrity of the arts and the dignity of human beings

Groups and Parties

muskratkidsOne of the few performing arts-based parties for birthdays and special celebrations in the Valley, our two hour events include a puppet show, a workshop, and a birthday nook for celebrating the day’s event. We provide the place, the clean-up and the fun.  You provide the guests and the cake.

Most parties are linked directly to the performances and workshops of our Saturday’s Child Family Series which runs from late fall through spring.  Revelers arrive at the IceHouse at about 9:45 and collect in the upper lobby of the theater.  At 10:00 they are trooped into the theater to see the performance.

After the show the party moves on to take part in the workshop of the day which might be anything from magic to puppetry. Following the show and workshop the party returns to the birthday nook to eat cake and participate in whatever activities the host might provide.

Finally, the party is invited back in to the theater area to open presents while our volunteers clean up birthday nook.  Our parties are lively affairs that keep everyone hopping and happy.   Private parties tailored to the special needs of the client are also available.

Fees: $10 per child/$5 per adult- lapsitters free

Groups between eight and fifty are welcome. Groups over fifty can arrange for their own afternoon show on Mock Turtle Presents performance dates. In general, our parties serve children between the ages of 4 and 12.
