Dancing Granny
Tumbling onto the stage, marionettes, shadow puppets, a lion mask puppet and the Great bird of Mali, The Dancing Granny is a spectable with great appeal for all ages. The tales include familiar characters like spider Anansi, Brer Rabbit, Boss lion and Mali Kono who stands over twelve foot tall.
Featuring singer-storyteller Grace Adele and puppeteer Doug Roysdon, the play captures the fascinating variety of the African arts and delivers an enthusiastic message of cultural appreciation.
