This year we look forward to offering The Puppet Zoo for festival and outdoor venues. Perfect for busy festivals, the “zoo” combines marionette performance, audience participation and family puppet-making workshops.  For the 2010 season we will be offering puppet-making workshops that are tailor-made for your festival. Organizers will have a wide choice of puppets to choose from including everything from lions to flowers, clowns and birds!

Also included in our festival offerings for 2010 is our fifty minute outdoor show, Time out for Puppets! A Mock Turtle standard, Time Out is made with the demands of festival performances in mind.  It sets up easily between acts in about ten minutes.  In addition, the show requires a minimum of tech and staging and can be performed in a variety of settings.

Festival Rates

Our rates for the coming festival season are based on travel distance, number of shows and the length of the engagement. As a rule of thumb, however, the more you ask us to do, the less expensive our shows become. This is particularly true for shows in the New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania area where most engagements are day trips from Bethlehem, PA

One show/The Puppet Zoo:         $400 plus travel

Two shows same day:                $700 no travel (sixty mile radius)

“According to a survey conducted on site, the highest percentage of Festival-goers enjoyed the entertainment the most and Mock Turtle Marionette Theater definitely stood out as a highlight of the Festival.” – John Vogt, Executive Director, Westmoreland Arts Festival
